I’m 60-years-old, 5’ 11” and a wiry 145 pounds. I grew up in the New York City suburbs, went to college at the Universities of Colorado and Massachusetts, worked for 37 years in the public sector in natural resources, published two very unsuccessful novels, at least so far (covers below and available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc. – see http://www.davidwgoodwin.com) in the last 4 years and have recently retired.
I’ve been an obsessive cyclist for as long as I can remember; touring, commuting and racing but took my obsession up a notch ten years ago when I was introduced to cyclocross. To say it has taken over my life is perhaps to understate it somewhat. I have a very understanding partner, Suzanne, who supports and encourages this obsession so I don’t think she would see this pursuit as a negative in our relationship. I also have two grown children who are off in the far corners of the world pursuing their own passions.
